St. Alphonsus is sponsoring a 28 week long study by Catholic Scripture Study International. The 2008 – 2009 study is on the book of Matthew, written by Dr. Scott Hahn and Mark Shea. Our CSS Members are learning the Scriptures and coming to a deeper understanding of their Catholic faith. As described at CSS’s website: “One of the best-loved books of the bible, the Gospel of Matthew focuses on the divine fatherhood of God, and it sets the stage for Jesus’ establishment of the Church as the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.”

No prior scripture study experience necessary! The study started in September and will finish in mid-May. Anyone is welcome to join at any time! Come see what our group is all about.

Class meets on Thursdays from 9:15 am – 11:00 am in the Knights of Columbus Hall in Wexford. There is childcare available for children from 18 months – 6 years of age.
