2fish.co is a web site devoted to defending and explaining the Catholic faith through reason and truth.

2fish.co (“co,” not “com”) is the work of Fr. Sean Francis, our former Parochial Vicar; his father, Paul; Louis Bosco, our Program Manager for Religious Education; and Andy Spero, a parishioner and the developer of our site.

The site’s name has two meanings: (1) by building the site as reasoned, positive explanation of The Faith and its practices, the group hopes to attract those interested in Catholicism. In that sense they hope to fish for men and women; and (2) they hope to do a lot of good with limited resources–like the miracle of the five loaves and the 2 fish.

If you (or others) have questions about your faith, there is a good chance you’ll find the answers there. If not, ask Fr. Sean or anyone involved to address the issue.

The site contains an on-line Catholic Bible and a lot of great artwork from the 13th – 15th centuries.

There still is a lot of work to do, and the group is looking for like-minded volunteers to:

complete many of the reference links (from articles to the bible pages),

contribute articles about Catholicism and the bible,

edit submitted articles,

contribute articles to defend the Faith against current attacks,

add artwork, and

contribute financially (if the site is successful and needs its own server).

If you are interested in helping, would like to provide feedback, or would simply like to say ‘hello’ or wish them luck, please use the site’s contact form.

The Holy Bible calls the Church “the pillar and foundation of truth” (1 Tim. 3:15). There is so much misunderstanding today about the Church’s beliefs, among Catholics and non-Catholics alike. It is more important than ever, therefore, for Catholics to fully understand what the Church teaches and why she teaches it, to strengthen our relationship with Jesus Christ first and foremost, but also to better equip us to charitably share our faith with others. To this end the Religious Education Program has made the below slideshows available for download:
