Parishioners interested in participating more fully in the St. Alphonsus community have a variety of ways to do so.
Major annual volunteer activities include the Harvest Home Dinner, the Lenten Fish Fry, and the Passion Play.
On a weekly basis, adult parishioners are invited to participate in the Sunday Liturgy as:
- Lectors
- Ushers
- Eucharistic Ministers (must be at least 18 years old)
- Adult Choir or Cantors
- Folk Choir
Younger parishioners–fourth grade and above–are invited to volunteer as altar servers, music instrumentalists, or in the Children’s Choir.
Adults and Youth, who have attended another Mass, are needed for babysitting in the small gymnasium during the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Please contact the rectory or call 724.935.1151 for more information.
