The music ministry at St. Alphonsus is led by Mrs. Mary Heagy, Director of Liturgical Music & Choir. Mrs. Heagy has associated with St. Alphonsus for several years.

Outside of St. Al’s, she provides private lessons for instruments, including piano, and gives voice lessons, too. She also teaches at a local Catholic school.
Mrs. Heagy leads the Adult Choir, which often performs at 10:00 AM Mass, and the Children’s Choir, which occasionally performs at 8:00 AM Mass. She is heavily involved with the Church’s annual Passion Play, Make Us Believers, and the Bell Choir, which is now led by Sara Heyl.

Mrs. Heagy schedules musicians and cantors for Sunday Masses at 8:00 am, 10:00 am, and 12:15 PM. She plays organ and piano at both the 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM Masses. Organist Nancy Barnes plays at 12:15 PM.
We hope to have choir and cantor schedules available on-line in the near future.
A separate folk group, led by John & Lynn DeNisi, usually plays at the Saturday Vigil Mass at 5:00 PM. We hope to have a link to a folk group page shortly, as well as their schedule.
